The raw salt is a salt coming directly from harvesting the ponds. It has not yet undergone additional treatment. This salt is a mineral composed of NaCl, Sodium Sulfate Na2SO4, Magnesium sulphate MgSO4, as well as some impurities.
The raw salt can be marketed as such although generally, washing, crushing and screening are required for different uses and especially to reduce the sulphate salts.
